Here are some facts you should keep in mind about potential suppliers from Taiwan.

Total factory output rose 3% in July 2019, compared with estimates for a 0.6% contraction.

The economics ministry of the Republic of China (Taiwan) said output represented a record high for the month of July.

Capital goods, such as factory equipment and machinery, showed the biggest increase, as Taiwanese companies shift manufacturing lines back home or other southeast Asian countries from China amid the ongoing trade war.

Industrial production was better than expected due to receiving larger orders from the U.S.

The economics ministry of the Republic of China (Taiwan) sees manufacturing output improving further as the peak-demand season primarily for technology products as companies restructure their global supply chains due to the trade war.
